Curvy

Don't be blue

Hey Monday Loves!

How is it going? For me. I don't have reason to complain because I don't work Mondays. I just love the weekend that much. And besides even if we don't work Mondays. Its still a start to a work week.
I'm going to list 5 ways we can make work days better. I listed them on twitter last night. (Do you follow me on twitter?) But today I elaborate.

5 ways to get through work days:

1. Dress to impress: YOURSELF. Looking good translates feeling good. Feeling good will get you threw those tough moments. Especially when everyone telling you how good you look. TRY: Preparing you outfit the night before.

2. Wakeup Makeup: If your like me. Makeup is optional most days. But as women don't we feel alot better with a little mascara and some popping lipstick. TRY: Making a light covered makeup routine. That way it wont feel like a chore. the lippie is a most.

3. Get up N Coffee: Maybe its coffee , maybe its a smoothie (like me). Giving yourself enough time to enjoy your favorite drink before work is sure to set a tone at least for the first few hours. TRY: hitting that coffee shop nearest your job.

4. Pack Lunch: Don't waste your whole break on rushing through traffic or waiting through long lines to get you some grub. most likely you won't have  much time left. Leaving you grumpy and a moody workmate. TRY: Packing a amazing lunch the night before. So you can spend you break catching up on Instagram or talking with your bestie.

5. SMILE! I'm telling you. These will make a difference in your worst moments. You can trick your mind to believe your in a better mood then you actually are. Smile.

Hope you enjoyed today's blog.

The Right Stripes

Hey There!

You ever heard the old wise tell that curvy girls shouldn't wear stripes?
Don't believe the hype because look at the curvy lady. Typically when restrictions arise they tend to come from one instance. Now those horizons stripes I don't really like that on any body type. Haha. Needless to say when it comes to fashion and a constant theme on Tellylovesfashion.
We gone do what we want.

So lets talk about this look. When I first started blogging I wore a lot of full skirts. I really like Mindy Kaling and Zooey Deschanel style. They seem to wear a lot of them and that vintage style that I love. So its my goal to showcase that more.

Skirt out of stock. Will notify when restocked.  Its from Fashion to Figure and i got every color it
came in!

These glasses... I made up my mind that I wanted  my glasses to have just as much style as my wardrobe. So obviously when I saw these babes they had to leave with me. And that they did....
They are Kate Spade Link to them : Janna Eyeglasses

Sidebar: I did a twirl for this shot and all my goods was out as the skirt did a full twirl and hubby was like "uh ah" Haha.

Enjoy your Monday!

T.G.I.F

Today is the day we've been waiting for! I can't believe it's finally here. Friday! Loves, when I say this week really wiped this girl out. It only took this morning to see how truly exhausted I was. According to the snooze button anyway. But I am very proud to share today's look. It's a very  ambiguous outfit. So many ways you can go with it. And I plan to show you in full detail soon. Different ways to style a midi dress and to wear a motor jacket. These lovelies are both from Fashion to Figure. Usually when I wear midi dresses I'm uncomfortable because the fabric is so thin. Not with this babe. Or the other 3 I have. Haha. A nice thick fabric. And the length is perfect for us long legged beauties. Unfortunately, both these items are currently sold out. But if you wait like I did. They will be back in no time! Hope you enjoyed today's look.

Red Fringe Vibes

Guess who's been crazy busy? We have!  My friend was in-town. Grandfather sick in the hospital, blog stuff, my 2K giveaway ( which I announced yesterday). Just busy me. So I'm dropping today's post with only a letter attached to it. A letter I wrote to myself. I sometimes do that when I need to get things out. Unfiltered. Hope you enjoy and can relate:

Hi. I'm Chantele.

My friends call me Telly. I have passions for things so deeply they consume all thought.  Things like friendships, love, family..life. I felt the burst to write. Write what I'm feeling. I'm feeling more nostalgic than ever these days. Thinking about friendships that once so strong. Now that have died a slow and agonizing death. Which at present, still on life support. But I don't have the courage or will to pull the plug. Only to pretend it's not there. Dying. I have a roller-coaster attached to my heart now. Highs and lows. Like waves building strong and then descending until the beachy sand. Where just for that moment I feel at peace. I feel one with self. I think the biggest battle these days is trying to figure myself out. My wants and needs out of life. So I can make this light skin girl happy. Content, more importantly. That is a weapon I often leave unattended. Why is it I can look straight upon the beautiful garden in front of me and still notice a rose is missing? Why is it that I can possess the very things in life I want and desire, have the very best friends but still ache for the ones I lost? You have to know I romanticize things. People, the past, etc. Which oddly it wasn't all that great. So now I'm looking at a beautiful garden called life at present and thinking about a rose that was never a rose in the first place. Sure I lost some people these past few years. Some to death. Some to life. To be honest it all freaks me out. I'm growing up and watching things grow and die. It's sobering. Most people don't focus on that fact. But I do. Think it has a lot to do with wanting to be prepared. I hate not being prepared. Being caught off guard. So not only do I like to live in reality. I’m also currently residing in the future. Now that isn't even possible! But somehow I Manage. That's what makes me crazy. I’m letting go, holding on all while looking ahead. That just won't cut it for me anymore. I have to be at peace. I have to let things be. AND both accept my realities and my limitations. Really accept them. Or I’ll lose it. And I can't afford anymore damage upstairs. I have to live those cliches : “ Let Live.” “Carpe Diem” “ What will be will be.” I think I’m up for the challenge…

Telly out.
